How can I add Time Off Requests and Availability?
You can create Time Off Requests and enter your Availability in the Schedule tab in your ZoomShift app.
How to create Time Off Requests
If you'd like to request time off, you can use Time Off Requests. Your employer will then be able to review and/or approve the request.
By default, you can select which PTO bank you'd like to use when submitting a Time Off Request. If your company offers multiple PTO categories, you’ll see each one listed along with your available hours—follow these steps to add a new Time Off Request:
- Tap the Schedule tab at the bottom of your screen
- Tap the + green icon
- You'll see three options listed, tap Time Off Requests
- Tap on Time off category
- Select the PTO category
- After selecting the PTO category, you’ll be prompted to enter the date, start time, and end time of your request—or indicate if you need the entire day off.
- Click Create to submit your Time Off Requests
What can I do if I only want to request a portion of the day?
If you don't need the whole day/days off, you can tap the green toggle under All Day and options to enter the time window you'd like to be off will show up. Make sure you add values for Start Time and End Time
How can I create my Availability?
Availability is the way you indicate to your employee when you are, or are not available to work. Availability can be a one-time thing or something that is recurring. Follow the outlined steps to add your Availability
- Tap the Schedule tab at the bottom of your screen
- Tap the + green icon
- You'll see three options listed, tap Availability
- Enter the Starting On date and a value for the Occurring Every field
- Enter the Start Time and End Time
- Once you finish tap on Create
