How can I add Time Off Requests and Availability?
You can create Time Off Requests and enter your Availability in the Schedule tab in your ZoomShift app. We'll walk you through both things below
How to create Time Off Requests
Time Off Requests is the process you need to complete to ask for Time Off. This will be an agreement between you and your employer once your request is approved. You can enter a Time Off Request following these steps in the ZoomShift app:
- Tap the Schedule tab at the bottom of your screen
- Tap the + green icon
- You'll see three options listed, tap Time Off Requests
- Enter dates for the From and To fields
- Enter a note to your Time Off Requests (optional)
- Tap Create
What can I do if I only want to request a portion of the day?
If you don't need the whole day/days off, you can tap the green toggle under All Day and options to enter the time window you'd like to be off will show up. Make sure you add values for Start Time and End Time
Availability
Availability is the way you indicate to your employee when you are, or are not available to work. Availability can be a one-time thing or something that is recurring. Follow the outlined steps to add your Availability
- Tap the Schedule tab at the bottom of your screen
- Tap the + green icon
- You'll see three options listed, tap Availability
- Enter the Starting On date and a value for the Occurring Every field
- Enter the Start Time and End Time
- Once you finish tap on Create
