How can I delete a team member?

In this guide, we'll cover how you can delete a team member from your ZoomShift account. Before moving forward, double-check that you’ve downloaded any historical data you might need. This change is permanent and can't be undone.


To delete a team member, you need to archive the user first:


  1. Head to the Team tab
  2. Locate the user or users you'd like to archive
  3. Check them off by clicking on the circle next to their names
  4. At the bottom, click the Archive Selected Team Members
  5. You'll see a pop-up asking for the confirmation; click OK

Now that the user is archived, continue with the steps below to delete the team member:


  1. Head to the Team tab
  2. Click 'Archived'
  3. Click on the user's name that you'll delete
  4. Click Delete

Important: Deleting a team member will not prevent it from being added to your monthly or annual billing, as it still adds up to the total number of seats in your account.
